DO YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT MICRO NUTRIENTS...

When we look at the nutritional needs of our body in order to survive and function we can divide our food into MICRO AND MACRO nutrients.

We can get all of our vitamins and minerals from foods such as veggies, fruits, meats, fish and fungi as well as eggs, nuts and dairy.

There are more than 2 billion people world wide who have deficiencies due to insufficient consumption of vitamins and minerals.

The most common being a deficiency in iron (anaemia).

We should be able to get all the nutrients we need by eating a healthy, varied diet.

🌞In addition, as vitamin D is found only in a small number of foods as well as what we get from the Sun, the Department of Health advises that everyone should consider taking a vitamin D supplement.

If you are considering taking any supplementation please ensure you have exhausted all avenues with regards to your diet first then ensure you shop around for good quality supplements.

I also recommend a visit to the GP if you before taking any supplementation.
