What is the best exercise for fat loss…?
One question i get asked a lot is “what is the best exercise for fat loss…?”
So the first thing we have to do is break down the question quickly and notice that the it asked purely about FAT LOSS.
The reason i mention this is that the question does NOT ask what the best exercise is for gaining muscle, becoming fitter, improving posture or building a six pack.
The only way to begin to see fat loss results is to be in a calories deficit.
This ideally needs to be done by reducing the amount of food we eat and by becoming more active.
Now with this said i my opinion we have only ONE answer to the question “what is the best exercise for fat loss”
THE ONE YOU ENJOY…
By doing an exercise you enjoy you will most likely end up doing it in the long term.
Also, you will end up looking forward to doing it AND end up doing it more than once per week.
Remember the only way to start seeing fat loss results is to be in a calorie deficit.
So whether it is weight training, running, dancing or walking then as long as you are in a calorie deficit it doesn’t matter what you decide to do.
I will talk in more detail in the future regarding more specific goals like building muscle and improving strength and what exercises a best for those goals.
So, control how much food you eat each day through calorie control AND pick an exercise you enjoy, be consistent AND you will start to see results…
